We celebrated our first event on May 5, 2022: the International Welcome Center's first Open House! Thank you for coming & making it a memorable occasion!
As part of a grand opening, the International Welcome Center officially opened its doors on May 18, 2022. Since the end of 2020, the International Welcome Center (IWC) has served a central point of contact at the Johannes Kepler University Linz to provide support services for international university employees .
After moving into the new office spaces at the beginning of 2022, the IWC could finally open its doors on-site and in-person. The event took place on a bright, sunny spring day:
The International Welcome Center held its second Open House event on May 9, 2023. Visitors experienced the "Journey of an International", snapped some great souvenir photos using our photo box, and expressed their creativity as part of a flipchart workshop about diversity!

The first MORE Summer Party took place on June 20, 2023, and featured music by Salah Ammo, along with delicious Armenian delicacies by Gevorg Gevorg Simonyan. The evening was interesting and entertaining and participants enjoyed great conversation!
The event included organized activities for guests, such as the MORE fingerprints activity to create a community picture, as well as a photo box to take fun, memorable snapshots!
