Survey: Organic Meat Meets Cafeteria Guests’ Tastes

Active Interest: 3,540 JKU students and employees took part in the Mensa survey.

The results showed that current change to organic and regional products definitively meets cafeteria guests’ tastes: 88% of those surveyed indicated that locally grown food is important or very important; 83.4% responded saying serving organic food is very important. Speaking of change, the Mensa now serves organic meat only.

The organic selection of meat, poultry and sausage products is also certified by Austria Bio Garantie.
