The Office of Studies Information and Academic Advising Services is an initial point of contact for students who have general inquiries about studying at the JKU, how to organize their schedule, and who to contact in the event of very specific inquiries. Staff members also help students use KUSSS as well as answers questions regarding KUSSS (Kepler University Study Support System).
The Department of Teaching and Studies Organization is part of Central Services at the Johannes Kepler University Linz and is allocated to the area of responsibilty under the JKU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. Staff members provide services for prospective students, enrolled students, and faculty members.

Studies Information and Academic Advising Services
The Admissions Office is a central contact point for prospective students who wish to enroll at the university, disenroll, or re-enroll. Staff members provide information about, among other things, admission requirements, qualifications for admission, and tuition fees.
Office of Examination and Recognition Services
The Office of Examination and Recognition Services is a central point of contact for students in regards to examinations and credit transfer. Students can find support services from their first examination all the way to graduation. Staff members are also available to answer inquiries and provide academic advising about degree programs and credit transfer.
Teaching and Studies Administration
The Office of Teaching and Studies Administration is a central point of contact for the institutes at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, and for inter-disciplinary institutes. In cooperation with institutes, studies commissions, and other responsible experts, staff members coordinate and optimize teaching and degree programs.
