Scholarships are between €540- €640 a month depending on the country (amounts based on the 2022/23  academic year; they will increase by 30 EUR in 2023/24):

The scholarship period is limited to six months. Additionally, if the remuneration exceeds 200% of the scholarship rate, the scholarship period will be limited to 2 months. The remaining time will be a "zero grant" period.

For the clinical-practical year "Tertiale" you can also apply for other countries around the world (700 EUR) or respectively Switzerland and the UK (640 EUR).

Students who study abroad together with their children, or students who have disabilities or a chronic illness can get an additional €250 per month. Students receiving a study grant (Studienbehilfe) can only apply for stays abroad during the 2021/2022 academic year.

Students can also apply to receive a study abroad grant ("Auslandsbeihilfe") providing the internship provides a transfer of a minimum of 3 ECTS credits per month.
